Races start 2016
Michael J Donohoe was the long time director of facilities for the Georgetown School System as well as an active member of the Georgetown Community. “Mike” passed away from Melanoma in June of 2006 and from 2007 to 2016, Mike’s family, friends and neighbors held a 5K Walk/Run in his honor to raise money for Melanoma research. The race also raised money for a scholarship in Mike’s name. In the first seven years the race raised over $200,000 and awarded $24,000 in scholarships.
