The Lounge Stage

The Lounge Stage was a volunteer stage presented on Thursday Night at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival each year from 2010 to 2019. The sound, lighting and stage set up were by Scotten Jones Productions and the booking and artist management was by Ethan Baird and Jake Bush. See the individual pages for video, audio recordings and more photographs.

2019 final song, the last song ever performed on the Lounge Stage.

2010, 2011, and 2012 the Lounge Stage was held at the top of the Ten Acre camping area.

After a lot of rain during the stage in 2012 the festival allowed us to move the stage down into the family tent for 2013 and 2014.

In 2014 only about half the people who came to see the stage fit in the family tent and the Lounge Stage moved to the larger dance tent for 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019

Due to the Pandemic The Falcon Ridge Folk Festival went virtual for 2020, the Lounge Stage did provide a virtual submission combining videos from 2016 to 2019. In 2021 the festival returned for one day at a new location, and in 2022 the festival returned to a full three day event at the new location. By 2022 the original Lounge Stage founders decided to move on to other things, and the Thursday Night Music Stage took over.
